You might believe you're not naturally photogenic. But here's the thing: it's not your responsibility to be photogenic—that's where I come in. My goal is to create an environment where you feel entirely at ease in front of my lens, allowing me to capture your most authentic self. All you and baby have to do, is show up! I have loads of patience as well, so there is no need to stress if baby is 'difficult'!

Approximately 1-2 weeks after your motherhood session, we will meet back at my Stellenbosch studio (or on ZOOM if you can't make it in person). Here you'll enjoy a compelling slideshow of 30-40 of the most beautiful portraits
from your session.
You will choose 1 beautiful portrait that will be printed on 18 x 25cm Fine Art paper and framed plus the matching 1 x digital file for trusting me to show you how beautiful the connection between you and your
little one really are!
There is NO obligation to purchase more images. This 1 complimentary framed portrait is included in your session fee. If you would like to order 2 or more additional images, I offer exquisite, premium crafted collections of folio boxes, albums and framed wall art.

Hi, I'm Nikki
I’m a Stellenbosch portrait photographer, specialising in creating heartfelt, fine art, timeless portraits of you and your family. I have a relaxed, yet organised approach to my photography.
I have worked in many genres in my career photographing weddings, families, studio sessions and interiors. I have built my life around all the things I love the most: My faith, family and friends and my photography business (this is my 15th year of being in business as a photographer and I enjoy it more and more every year!).
I'm honoured to continue preserving the love, vitality, and heartfelt connections that families share when they are together. It's a privilege to capture these moments that mean the world to them!
For me, there's an inherent magic in printed photographs that surpasses the digital realm. I firmly believe that timeless printed images have the power to transform a house into a cherished home, infusing spaces with warmth and joy. I understand that my session fee of R2950 covers the guided photo session at Nikki's studio in Stellenbosch, along with professional hair and makeup for mom. It also includes one framed fine art portrait. Additional images are optional and can be purchased during the reveal session*Required field!

Where does the photo session take place?
Sessions take place at my home studio in Stellenbosch. Full details will be sent out the day before your session.
Can I purchase just digital files from you?
Digitals and prints are the same price. So with every printed portrait you purchase, you’ll receive the digital equivalent in that size. An additional 1x printed and matted portrait costs R900. A matted print is a photograph with a thick, white paperboard around the image.
I am not one for lots of make-up, do I have a say in how it is done?
Absolutely! You can share your makeup preferences with our makeup artist at the studio. She will offer guidance, but the final decision is yours, ensuring you feel completely comfortable.
What if I love more than the one portrait that's included? Can I purchase more?
I have created package collections that provide more value. Collections of portraits start at R7900. Most of my clients spend between R7K and R20K, but there is no minimum spend required.
Is there anything specific my baby and I need to wear?
Once you have made your booking, I will share a moodboard with you that will give a very good idea of clothing styles best suited for this session. Ultimately it is your choice - first prize is timeless, high quality items with optional texture but no patterns / stripes. The same applies for baby.
When do I get to view the images from my session?
Approximately one week after your session, you’ll be invited back to my studio to view a slideshow of the best portraits taken of you and your little one. If you’re not from the Cape Town area then I’ll send you a ZOOM link and I’ll do your viewing online by sharing my screen with you.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes – payment plans can be arranged to be paid in 2 to 3 installments over 2- 3 months.
