Haute Cabrière in the picturesque town of Franschhoek is one of the oldest working wine farms in the Western Cape dating back to 1694 when the French Huguenot Pierre Jourdan, was granted a piece of land in Olifantshoek – today known as Franschhoek – which he decided to name after his home town, Cabriere (see-http://www.cabriere.co.za/about-us/history/). This farm has the most breathtaking view of Franschhoek I have yet seen. Everything about the venue speaks of class, atmosphere and charm and hence was an obvious choice for Warren and Megan when deciding on a venue to start this new exciting chapter in their lives. Megan looked glamorous in her Didi Couture dress and arrived at the venue in style in a 1930’s Ford Phaeton vintage car. Together with her father they entered the cellar with its long isle to where Warren was waiting. After the ceremony guests enjoyed canapés while being spoilt with the amazing view of the Franschhoek mountains. The chef at this restaurant deserves to be praised for the 4 course dinner guests enjoyed – it was 5 star quality both in taste and presentation. Congratulations Warren and Megan and thank you for having me as your photographer.
Enjoy their preview!
