What a way to kick off the new 2017 – 2018 wedding season – Jako and Andrea’s rustic wedding at Wolfkloof (nestled between the beautiful Robertson mountains) was simply gorgeous on all fronts – firstly our bride, Andrea – wow, what a natural beauty she is; secondly – the location – I simply love outdoor ceremonies and the intimate vibe of the venue suited the couple perfectly; thirdly – how special to do a first look before all the formalities start! The ceremony was held in the shadows of a massive tree. While we went off to catch the last warm light of the day, guests entertained themselves with old fashioned lawn games before sitting down to a feast prepared by chef Jeanne Kannemeyer. Although this was a winter wedding, the weather couldn’t have been more perfect and although there was a cosy fire inside (and even marshmallows to braai!) lots of guests had a fantastic time dancing on the deck.
