Stephen & Salome | 2 April 2011 | La Vierge, Hermanus
Salome is an Afrikaans girl who grew up in Cape Town and Steve is British. They first laid eyes on each other in their London church and soon realised that they found in each other the life partner they have always been looking for! They are so sweet and down to earth and spontaneous so I had a fabulous time being behind the lens at their beautiful wedding. Salome mailed me a picture of her dress a few months before the wedding and I remembered thinking what a perfect fit and choice it was for her. She is so feminine, has lively blue eyes and a spontaneous, contagious laugh. Her make-up was soft and romantic and the roses in her hair complimented her classic look. Although dark clouds and rain did threaten at times, we managed to take the most beautiful shots with the dark sea and clouds in the background and also in the valley of the beautiful ‘Hemel en Aarde Vallei’.
The food was amazing and so was the party on La Vierge’ ‘stoep’ area!
