Deidré and Michael’s wedding had so much uniqueness to it:
1. Their choice of venue (Moyo at Spier) ensured that everyone was entertained every minute of the day
2. Deidré didn’t want a traditional bridal gown and went for something young and fun (beautifully made by Gelieft) – a dress that showed off her beautiful legs and transformed into a cocktail dress in the evening!
3. Deidré and her dad didn’t walk down the isle on the traditional Wedding March, but made a loud joyous entrance together with the Spier dancers.

They didn’t want to crowd the tables with decor as the venue already adds all the colour and atmosphere. The funky bold bouquets were however supplied by Okasie in Stellenbosch. Deidré and Michael have a spark between them that I am sure will last forever – they are very passionate about each other and although both of them are fun loving, Deidré will ensure that there is never a dull moment and Michael will be her calm in the storm (corny, but true :).

Aah Nikki, you have done it again. I met Deidre at Gelieft’s studio in STellenbosch, where she had come to collect some fabric left over from her dress to use in the bouquets.
She looks just as bubbly in the photos as she did in person – beautifully captured!
